ABOUT

Kasperi is a Helsinki-based colorist working across commercials, music videos, branded content, documentaries, and short films. He discovered his passion for color grading during his cinematography studies at the Baltic Film, Media & Arts School in Tallinn, where he went on to specialize in the craft and write his thesis on it. He worked as a colorist on a plethora of student projects, with some gaining great international success, like the short film Memory Merchant, which received a nomination at the prestigious EnergaCAMERIMAGE Film Festival. Alongside his studies, he also began working professionally as a freelance colorist on Estonian feature documentaries, including Torn and Minu pere ja muud klounid, both nominated for Best Documentary at the Estonian Film and Television Awards, with Torn taking the win.

After graduating with honors, Kasperi completed an Erasmus+ traineeship at James Post, grading commercials and branded content for clients including Finnair, Visit Finland, and Oikotie. He now works full-time as a freelance colorist from his own suite in Helsinki, collaborating with local clients in person and international clients remotely. His freelance work has also expanded into music videos and branded content for some of Finland's biggest artists, including Olga, Jenni Vartiainen, Lauri Haav, and Minttu. Clients keep coming back for his direct communication, flexibility, and personal, hands-on approach to every project.
