ABOUT

I'm a Helsinki-based colorist working across commercials, music videos, branded content, documentaries, and short films. I discovered my passion for color grading while studying cinematography at the Baltic Film, Media & Arts School in Tallinn. It didn't take long for me to realize that color was what I wanted to focus on, so I specialized in it and eventually wrote my thesis on the subject. During my studies, I graded a wide range of student projects, including Memory Merchant, which went on to receive a nomination at the prestigious EnergaCAMERIMAGE Film Festival. Alongside my studies, I also began working professionally as a freelance colorist on Estonian feature documentaries, including Torn and Minu pere ja muud klounid. Both were nominated for Best Documentary at the Estonian Film and Television Awards, with Torn taking home the award.

After graduating with honors, I completed an Erasmus+ traineeship at James Post, where I graded commercials and branded content for clients including Finnair, Visit Finland, and Oikotie. Today, I work as a freelance colorist from my grading suite in the heart of Helsinki, in Punavuori, collaborating with local clients in person and with international clients remotely.

In recent years, my work has expanded into music videos and branded content for some of Finland's biggest artists, including Olga, Jenni Vartiainen, Lauri Haav, and Minttu. No matter the size or type of project, I aim to bring a collaborative and personal approach to every grade. Clients often tell me they appreciate my clear communication, flexibility, and the care I put into making sure we achieve the right look together.
